Remove screw/bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Torx socket TP 55

Remove retaining lock

Remove flywheel (9)



Check

Check friction surface on flywheel (9) for crack formation and wear

replace flywheel (9).

Check ring gear of the flywheel (9) for damage

Check end cover (10) with integral radial shaft sealing ring for leaktightness

In case of leaks



Replace end cover (10).

Install

Install flywheel (9)

 Align marking (11) on flywheel (9) with marking (12) on crankshaft.

Screw in new screw/bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

 Do not tighten the screw/bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) yet

 Commercially available devices/tools
Torx socket TP 55

Install retaining lock

Tighten screw/bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) in numerical sequence

 Screw/bolt, flywheel to crankshaft
