Clean the torque converter mount (arrow A) in the crankshaft (1) with brake cleaner .

Remove fretting rust from the torque converter mount (arrow A) in the crankshaft (1) using a micro-finishing band (grain size: 180).
The torque converter mount (arrow A) must be completely rust-free.

Clean the torque converter mount (arrow A) in the crankshaft (1) again using a brake cleaner and also with compressed air.
