Removing

Remove belt pulley for crankshaft

Lever crankshaft radial sealant ring (1) out of timing case cover (2) using a suitable tool

Ensure that timing case cover (2) is not damage otherwise it must be replaced.

Install

Clean sealing surface on timing case cover (2)

The sealing surface on the timing case cover (2) must be absolutely dust and grease-free otherwise leaks can occur.

Insert crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) in the timing case cover (2) and then install flush with the timing case cover (2)

The crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) must be installed dry.

Install crankshaft belt pulley

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
