Remove

Remove belt pulley/vibration damper

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1)


Use a screwdriver to press out radial shaft sealing ring (1). Use a clean cloths as a base.
The crankshaft and the contact surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) will be damaged otherwise.

Install

Install radial shaft sealing ring (1) using insertion tool (2)

Install belt pulley/vibration damper

Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Conduct engine test run and check engine for leaktightness in area of the radial shaft sealing ring (1)
