Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Drain/collect engine oil



Remove screws/bolts (3, 3.1)

 Installation: Tighten screw/bolt (3, 3.1) all around on oil pan bottom section (1) clockwise, beginning at the screw/bolt (3.1).

 Bolt, oil pan bottom section to oil pan

Remove oil pan bottom section (1)


Carefully unfasten oil pan bottom section (1) from oil pan top section (2).
This prevents damage.

 Installation: Apply sealant.

Clean

Clean sealing surface on oil pan bottom section (2) and oil pan top section (1)

Install in the reverse order



Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
