Remove refrigerant compressor major assembly carrier

Remove right engine carrier from engine

Remove guide tube of oil dipstick

Remove cap with radial shaft sealing ring

Remove timing case cover

Remove screw/bolts (2)

 Position coolant line outside of the working area.

Remove oil pan bottom section

Disconnect electrical connectors (11, 12)

Remove retaining clamp (10)

Remove plug housing (9) toward the inside from the oil pan (1)

 Position plug housing (9) with wiring harness on the oil pan (1).

Remove oil line (5)

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

 Screw/bolt, oil line to oil pan top section

Loosen screw (6)

 Screw/bolt, electrical line bracket to oil pump/oil pan bottom section

Remove bracket (7)

 Remove screw/bolt (8) to do this.

 Screw/bolt, electrical line bracket to oil pump/oil pan bottom section

Remove oil pan screw/bolts(1) in the reverse order of the tightening procedure

Remove oil pan (1)

Notes on sealant path for oil pan

Carefully remove oil pan (1) from crankcase.
Damage could occur on the sealing surfaces otherwise.

 Installation: Apply sealant.

Clean sealing surfaces on the oil pan (1) and crankcase

Install in the reverse order



 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
