Remove screw/bolts (1 to 11) on the oil pan (12)

 Commercially available devices/tools
Cordless drill/driver or rechargeable drill

Detach oil pan (12) from crankcase using a knife and remove

 Blade

Clean

Clean sealing surface on oil pan (12)

When reusing the oil pan (12).

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Clean sealing surface on crankcase

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Install

Apply sealant to oil pan (12)

Place oil pan (12) with screw/bolts (1 to 11) evenly on the crankcase.

Tighten screw/bolts (1 to 11) in ascending sequence

 Bolt, oil pan to crankcase/timing case cover

Pour in engine oil



 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check engine in area of the oil pan (12) for leaktightness
