Disconnect engine wiring harness for removal of engine

Release and disconnect electrical connections (1).

Engine 178 in model 190
with code 466 (Active engine mount)
Turn electrical connector (9) counterclockwise and remove from bracket (10).

Release and disconnect electrical connection(9).

Unclip electrical connectors (2) of the engine wiring harness from the side wall.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2) of the engine wiring harness.

Open cable duct (3).

Remove engine wiring harness (4) from cable duct (3) and place to one side.

Disconnect engine wiring harness for removal of engine

Unclip subharness (5) from left overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/1) and right overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/2).

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6) of the left overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/1) and the right overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/2).

Unclip alternator wiring harness from the oil pan and from the crankcase.

Unclip starter wiring harness from crankcase.

Remove bracket of the alternator wiring harness and starter wiring harness from the right cylinder head cover.

Release and disconnect electrical connector from alternator (G2).

Remove circuit 30 electric line from alternator (G2)   .

Remove circuit 30 electric line from starter (M1)   .

Remove circuit 50 electric line from starter (M1)   .

Remove ground line (7) from front axle carrier   .

Release and disconnect electrical connector from steering gear.



19

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (8) of low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6) and low-temperature circuit circulation pump 2 (M43/7).
