1 Unplug connector (1).
2 Disconnect connector for O2 sensor upstream of the TWC (G3/2x1).
3 Disconnect refrigerant compressor connector (A9x1).
4 Loosen cable tie (arrows).
5 Disconnect connectors (4, 5, 6, 7, 8).
6 Remove the fuel hose (37) on T-piece.
Installation: Replace hose clamp.

7 Remove bolts (arrows) on cable duct (9).
8 Pull out connector (10, 11).
9 Unclip vacuum line (12) from bracket on cable duct (9).
10 Disconnect connectors (13).

11 Release and disconnect connector (14).
12 Unclip engine wiring harness (15) on bracket (16).
13 Remove bolt (17) on engine wiring harness (15).
14 Unscrew screw (20).
15 Pull vent hose (22) out of the bracket on transmission and place aside.
Installation: Ensure correct seating of the vent hose (22) in the bracket on the transmission.
16 Detach charge air hose (19) on charge air pipe (21).
17 Pull locking device (18) upwards and pull out charge air hose (19).
18 Remove charge air pipe (21) on cylinder head and place aside.

19 Unplug connector (23).
20.1 Unplug connector (24).

21 Disconnect electrical line (25) on starter (M1).
22 Unclip engine wiring harness (15) from the brackets (26, 27).
23 Unplug connector (28).

24 Loosen clip (29).
25 Disconnect plug (30).
26.1 Raise vehicle.

27.1 Unplug connector on shift actuator (32).

28.1 Unplug connector (31) and remove branch-off line for transmission wiring harness (33) on bracket (34).
Only with transmission 717.475.
29.1 Lead branch-off line for transmission wiring harness (33) upwards.
Only with transmission 717.475.
30.1 Lower vehicle
Only with transmission 717.475.
31 Unplug connector (35, 36).
32 Remove engine wiring harness up to engine support.
33 Install in reverse order.
