Remove/install

Lift vehicle with lifting platform.

Remove torque converter cover (1) at transmission bell housing.

Crank engine in increments using a wide screwdriver (2) in direction of rotation.


Turn engine only in direction of rotation.
Engine damage can occur otherwise.

Position blade of screwdriver (2) at ring gear (3) and support against wall of transmission bell housing.

Install in the reverse order.
