Risk of explosion due to escaping combustible gas or overheating of gas cylinders.Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes. Risk of frostbite to body parts caused by escaping gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying gas cylinders. Risk of poisoning or suffocation caused by inhaling gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Turn off ignition and remove the key

Turn-off the master switch

Close the gas valve in the filling box

 Installation: Open the valve slowly to avoid freezing in the gas line.

Open the drain (5) of the low-pressure filter (1)

Note on threaded connections of gas lines

Release high-pressure hose nut (2) from the low-pressure filter (1)

 Installation: Replace piping sealing ring.

 Cover piping to avoid dirt.

 Installation: Replace piping sealing ring.

 Cover piping to avoid dirt.

Release screws (4) and replace low pressure gas filter (1)

Install in reverse order

Check gas system

 Installation: Apply soap lye around the connections and check for bubble formation.
