Danger! | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. | |

Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. | |
1 | Raise vehicle | ||
2 | Remove underride guard | ||
3 | Start engine | ||
| Clean | ||
4 | Rinse alternator (G2) and alternator 24V (G2/1) with water spray | Only use clean fresh water and do not add cleaning agents or solvents. If necessary fabricate suitable angled nozzle. | |
5 | Allow alternator (G2) and alternator 24V (G2/1) to dry | To do this, allow engine to continue running for approx 5 minutes. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order |
