1 | Open the engine access cover | Refer to the body makers instructions. | |
Access to perform the maintenance and repairs varies according to the bodywork type/manufacturer of the bodywork. | |||
2 | Loosen the belt (1) | It is not necessary to remove the belt. | |
3 | Remove the cap (2) | Installation: The dust discharge valve must be positioned downwards. | |
4 | Remove the filtering element (3) | For more security, mark the replacement date on top of the element and make a note on the maintenance manual. | |
Pull carefully the element, turning it to the right and left alternately until it goes loosen. | |||
Installation: Replace the sealing ring (5). | |||
5 | Remove the safety element (4) | Security element should be replaced every three main filter element changes (3) or after, maximum, two years of use. | |
6 | Install in reverse order |
