Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory.



Perform SCN coding on automatic air conditioning (AAC) control unit (N154).



 Under the menu item "Control unit adaptations", follow the instructions for "SCN coding".

Teach in warm water stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/2) with water stationary heater radio remote control receiver (A49/5).

 To do this, select the following menu items:
Control units view  N154 - Air conditioning (AAC [KLA]) (code: HH4, HH9, H13)  LIN: A49/5 - Receiver of radio remote control for stationary heater (STH-TSE) (code: HY1)  Actuations  Teaching in radio remote control transmitters.

Remove vehicle diagnosis system from vehicle.



Check

Carry out function test of stationary heater radio remote control.

 For this purpose, press the "ON" button on the warm water stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/2) approx. 3 s, at which point the vehicle ventilation system must audibly switch on. The hot-water auxiliary heater is switched on.

 Then press the "OFF" button on the warm water stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/2) approx. 3 s, at which point the vehicle ventilation system switches off. The hot-water auxiliary heater is switched off.
