General information

The trailer hitch released by us has been tested and approved in accordance with German registration regulations. For all other countries, the relevant existing regulations apply.

The pressure of the trailer draw bar acting vertically on the ball of the trailer hitch must not exceed the value specified on the model plate of the trailer hitch.

The manufacturer's installation instructions supplied with the installation kit, and the accompanying set of MB operating instructions must be handed over to the customer.

The body sealant and underfloor protection must be removed from all surfaces of the trailer hitch and its mounting bolts that come into contact with the body.

Bright body areas (e.g. around the holes) must be coated with zinc dust paint.
