The fault memory can be read and deleted with the hand held tester only . The content of the fault memory is updated only when it is switched on or activated.
Fault memory
After the menu point "Fault memory" is selected, the digits of the codes stored in the control module appear together with the relevant texts.
Procedure in the case of current faults:
Process faults as described in the test program - electrical system.
Procedure in the case of stored faults:
Delete fault memory, activate and deactivate the DAS as specified and read out the fault memory again. If the fault is again stored, process fault as described in the test program - electrical system.
