1 | Take off cap of oil reservoir. | Inspect seal of cap, replace if necessary. | |
2 | Fill steering oil reservoir with oil | Do not pour in oil beyond max. marking. | |
3 | Relieve the load on the front axle | ||
4 | Crank steering from right to left when engine is at a standstill and correct permanent oil level in reservoir | Perform operation until bubble formation can no longer be seen in the steering oil reservoir. | |
5 | Crank steering with engine at idle speed and correct oil level in reservoir | Perform operation until bubble formation can no longer be seen in the steering oil reservoir. | |
6 | Adjust to correct level | ||
7 | Put on cap and screw on tightly. | ||
8 | Check steering system for leaks | | |
