Adjustment of modulating pressure with an adjustable cap
D27.60-0019-01
Adjustment 1 The modulating pressure can be reduced by 0.2 bar by rotating the cap from position "A" to "B".
If this does not result in a precise adjustment of the modulating pressure, carry out basic adjustment.
D27.60-0020-01
Basic adjustment 1 Remove cap on the vacuum unit.
The cap is irreparably damaged when removed and must be replaced.
D27.60-0018-01
2 Pull the adjusting key out of the locking cap until it can be rotated.
One clockwise rotation results in a pressure increase of 0.4 bar. One counterclockwise rotation results in a pressure decrease of 0.4 bar.
D27.60-0015-01
Adjustment process 1 Check and record modulating pressure at idle speed when the vehicle is stationary. Check and record modulating pressure at wide open throttle at 50 km/h. Compensate the calculated pressure difference when vehicle is stationary (at idle speed). After the adjustment process, check the modulating pressure at wide open throttle at 50 km/h again and repeat the adjustment process, if necessary.
