1 | Move selector lever to position "D" | ||
2 | Remove center section of dashboard | ||
3 | Disconnect shift lock cable coupling (1) to ignition switch | Pry locking shackle (A) outwards and push coupling (1) against spring force into selector lever module, rotate through 90° (to right or left) and detach. | |
4 | Disconnect connector from selector lever module (5) | When disconnecting plug, press together at points shown (arrows). | |
5 | Pry ball socket (4) of transmission Bowden cable off ball sock at selector lever module | Use a suitable slotted screwdriver. Installation: Make sure that the selector lever is in position "D". Push the range selector on the transmission forwards as far as the stop. | |
6 | Remove bolt (2) | | |
7 | Move selector lever to position "P" | Installation: Switch on ignition and apply brakes. Move selector lever back to position "D". | |
8 | Remove electronic selector lever module | Before removing it, mark the position of the range selector module on the console. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
10 | Perform a function test |
