Pressure sensor design | The rail pressure sensor (B66) consists of an extensional diaphragm manufactured from a high-grade spring steel with strain gage tap (extensional resistance made of poly-silicon in the semiconductor sensor). | ||
Pressure sensor function | The rail pressure sensor (B66) measures the current rail pressure and supplies an appropriate voltage signal to the CDI control module (A53). The pressure control valve (Y74) is then actuated accordingly by the CDI control module (A53) through a control loop, until the desired rail pressure is achieved. |
