Remove

Remove drive shaft.

Disassemble/assemble

Remove hose straps (1) from axle boot (2) and push back axle boot (2).

Remove joint piece (4) from drive shaft.

Press spring lock washer (3) apart and drive joint piece (4) off drive shaft using plastic mallet.

Assembly: Fill joint piece (4) with lubricant.

Press off cylinder liner (5) using workshop press and assembly plate.

Commercially available devices/tools
Workshop press

Installation: Heat cylinder liner to 160 - 180 °C.

Clean all parts.

Check all parts.

If damage is found,

replace damaged parts.

Assemble in the reverse order.
