Test description

Check the exhaust gas recirculation switchover valve for correct opening and closing. Activation takes place with the HHT tool and reading off the actual values via the vacuum tester.

Test connection

Connect the vacuum tester with the Y-distributor unit between the switchover valve Y12 and EGR valve.

Carrying out the test

1 Engine at idle speed

2 Actuate the switchover valve via the HHT and read off the display on the vacuum tester
