Cut a strip (1) off of insulation.
Determine dimensions (B, L) in accordance with the hole to be sealed, observing the hole depth and stop plug diameter.

Roll up the strip (1) in a spiral around a correspondingly closed cable tie (2) or a suitable cap until the desired stop plug diameter plus 20 % is reached.
