Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Remove soundproofing below the engine

Danger !

Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension

Use only approved tensioning devices; additionally screen off hazardous area if necessary. Check special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection). Wear protective gloves.

Relieve poly-V belt and remove from belt pulley of A/C compressor (4)

AR13.22-W-0003A

Do not remove poly-V-belt.

Remove screws/bolts (1) and remove the retaining clamps for the refrigerant lines (2) from the bracket (3)

Remove bracket (3)

Disconnect electrical connector for magnetic clutch of A/C compressor (4)

Installation: Replace cable tie.

Remove screws/bolts (5) from A/C compressor (4)

Screw/bolt, A/C compressor to carrier

Remove A/C compressor (4) with connected refrigerant lines (2)

Fasten A/C compressor (4) using wire to a suitable position.

Remove screws/bolts (6) and remove carrier (7)

With regard to return shipment or scrapping of removed parts, please observe the information in your warranty system.

Installation: Install new carrier (7) using new screws/bolts (6).
