The various input conditions of the PSM control unit can be set to Yes (Y) or No (N) according to the version required. The function at the control unit output is executed only if all conditions set to (Y) at the control unit input are satisfied depending on the corresponding logical links.

Equation 420 is used to activate the interfaces to the body electronics and trailer electronics.

010 Body interface (AUF)
Activation of body interface.
020 Single-wire capability (AUF)
Activation of single-wire capability.
The body electronics must also have single-wire capability.
030 Trailer interface (ANH)
Activation of trailer interface.
040 Single-wire capability (ANH)
Activation of single-wire capability.
The trailer electronics must also have single-wire capability.
