1 Heating system heat exchanger
Location
The heating system heat exchanger is located behind the instrument panel in the A/C housing.
Task
The heating system heat exchanger warms the air flow, which is directed to the vehicle interior via the various defroster, ventilation and heater vents.
Function
Heated coolant flows through the heating system heat exchanger when heat is required.
The heat is conducted to the outside via the coiled pipes and lamella. This in turn warms the passing air flow, which is directed to the vehicle interior via the various defroster, ventilation and heater vents.
