Task of ESP brake pressure sensor

Monitors master cylinder pressures to determine driver demand. Generates an electrical signal, for pressure sensor 1 ESP (B34/1) which corresponds to the pressure in the float circuit and for pressure sensor 2 ESP (B34/2) , reflecting the pressure in the control rod circuit.

ESP brake pressure sensor, function

Ceramic sensor element measures pressure of brake fluid. This metallic housing contains an electronic chip that transmits the pressure signal to the control unit as an analog voltage.
