1 Remove trim strip at windshield and rear window, remove masking from front wall pillar and top rubber seal from rear window.
2 Mask roof at side approx. 10 mm from roof bead with masking paper.

3 Mask off upper roof hem at windshield and rear window with adhesive tape, 50 mm wide.
4 Affix adhesive tape, 50 mm wide, in central position on roof bead.
5 Turn back overlapping adhesive tape from center of roof paneling to bead and affix to masking paper.

6 Cover the entire vehicle with masking paper.
After completing the painting work (before drying), remove turned-back adhesive tape from roof bead so that wet paint can blend at transition without forming an edge.
