Remove/install

Remove ground line of battery.

Remove respective lower C-pillar trim.

Nut, acceleration sensor to C-pillar

Remove left C-pillar body acceleration sensor (B164/2) or right C-pillar body acceleration sensor (B164/3) from C-pillar and disconnect electrical connector (3).

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.

If left C-pillar body acceleration sensor (B164/2) or right C-pillar body acceleration sensor (B164/3) was replaced.
