1 | Unclip covering with switch panel from center part of instrument panel and detach connection line from switch panel | ||
2 | Remove bolts (2) | ||
3 | Note switch position of air distribution switch (3) and of temperature switch (4) | Installation: Select switch position of temperature switch and of air distribution switch corresponding to removal. | |
4 | Pull climate control control and operating unit (1) out of instrument panel and remove blend air flap control shaft (6) from climate control control and operating unit | Installation: Ensure that the air distribution control shaft (5) and the blend air flap control shaft (6) are seated correctly. | |
5 | Remove plug of connection line on rear of climate control control and operating unit (1) | ||
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
7 | Normalize fresh air/recirculated air flap actuator motor using STAR DIAGNOSIS | Only if the climate control control and operating unit (1) was replaced. | |
8 | Check climate control control and operating unit (1) for proper operation |
