Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Remove paneling at center piece in front of windshield

Unscrew bolts (2)

Screw/bolt, wiper linkage to firewall

Lift and turn over windshield wiper system (1)

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Remove windshield wiper system (1)

Installation: Remove any remaining rubber disks (4) from body and attach at windshield wiper system (1).

Install in the reverse order

Check

Perform function check of windshield wiper system (1)
