Removing

Risk of injury when performing check and repair work in area of roll bar

Before working in the area of the roll bar, pull out the rear head restraints by hand.

Keep body parts out of the area where the roll bar extends.

Check supply pressure of hydraulic pump (11)

Open trunk lid

Remove left side wall lining in trunk

Loosen bolt (12) on hydraulic pump (11)

 Pressure is relieved from hydraulic system

Remove soft top compartment lid of hydraulic cylinder

 Lay soft top compartment lid hydraulic cylinder down to side with lines connected.

Disconnect plug (7) from hydraulic unit

Unscrew nut (5) from hydraulic pump bracket (6).

Unscrew nut (1)

Remove hydraulic pump ground line (2)

Unscrew nut (3)

Remove hydraulic pump power supply cable (4)

Disconnect hydraulic lines (9) from hydraulic pump (11)

Remove hydraulic pump (11)



Install

Install hydraulic pump (11)

Connect hydraulic lines (9) to hydraulic pump (11)

Screw on hydraulic pump bracket (6) with nut (5)

Connect plug (7) to hydraulic pump (11)

Install hydraulic pump ground cable (2)

Tighten nut (1)

Remove hydraulic pump power supply cable (4)

Tighten nut (3)

Tighten bolt (12) on hydraulic pump (11)

Install soft top compartment lid hydraulic cylinder

Check hydraulic system oil level

 If necessary correct oil level


