Remove, install rear panoramic glass roof paneling

Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof

Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.

Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

Deburr repair panels.

Do not damage rear glass roof as well as paneling components, seat coverings, etc. in passenger compartment with sharp-edged clips, etc.

Retract rear roller sun blind

Detach rear glass roof paneling (1) from clips (2, 3) and remove

 Position assembly wedge between glass roof and glass roof paneling (in area of clips (arrows A)) at top of glass roof paneling. Slightly pull glass roof paneling downward vertically with assembly wedge until glass roof paneling detaches from clips (2). Now pull both ends rear ends of glass roof paneling out of panoramic roof frame by lightly bending. Pull glass roof paneling toward rear until front clip area (arrows B) detaches from clips (3). Remove glass roof paneling

 Installation: First install glass roof paneling in front clip area (arrows B), then insert both rear ends into panoramic roof frame and then arrest side areas (arrows A) upward vertically.
