1 | Remove inside rear-view mirror | ||
2 | Push cover toward rear | ||
3 | Open sliding/pop-up roof approx. 10 cm | ||
4 | Remove cover (1) | Press cover (1) away on outside with plastic wedge before pulling off | |
5 | Move sliding/pop-up roof to pop-up position | ||
6 | Remove rubber bellows (3) | ||
7 | Unscrew screw (4) | Screwdriver bit 3/8" square, TORX | |
8 | Remove sliding/pop-up roof cover | ||
9 | Actuate sliding roof switch in closing direction until sliding roof drive switches off | ||
| Installation | ||
10 | Install sliding/pop-up roof cover | ||
11 | Screw in screw (4) | Do not tighten | |
12 | Slightly tension sliding/pop-up roof cover with assembly pliers (5) | | |
| Modify assembly pliers (special tool) for sliding/pop-up roof | ||
Adjusting | |||
13 | Adjust sliding/pop-up roof cover in relation to outer roof surface and tighten screw (4) | ||

14 | Remove assembly pliers (5) | ||
15 | Check sliding/pop-up roof for proper function | ||
16 | Install inside rearview mirror |
