| Remove/install | ||
1 | Close side window of front door (2) completely | ||
2 | Loosen adhesive foil on inner door panel of front door (2) until access opening (arrow A) in inner door panel is accessible | ||
3 | Open locking clip (3) and remove actuator rod (4) from lever (5) | ||
4 | Remove plug (6) from front door (2) | ||
5 | Loosen screw (7) until door handle cover (8) is separated from bearing bracket | Screw (7) remains in bearing bracket. | |
6 | Pull door handle (9) in the direction of the arrow (arrow B) and remove door handle cover (8) | ||
7 | Unlatch tab (8.1) and remove door handle cover (8) from lock cylinder (1) | When installing new lock cylinder (1). | |
8 | Remove actuator rod (4) from lock cylinder (1) | When installing new lock cylinder (1). | |
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||

10 | Carry out function test on door lock on front door (2) |
