Remove/install

Remove inner door actuation from front door

Unclip door handle cover (1) and unscrew bolt below

Remove screw from door handle (2)

Unscrew bolts on door lining (4)

Carefully remove door lining (3) in area of clips (8)

Check clips (8) for damage, replace if necessary.

Remove door lining (3) from upper window frame cover

Carefully remove door lining (3) upward from upper window frame cover

Separate electrical connectors (10)

Disconnect electrical connector from ambiance illumination

Only on vehicles with code (FR1) Ambiance illumination

Remove door lining (3).

Wear respiratory protection, protective gloves and safety glasses. Pour adhesive into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.

Installation: Replace door protection foil, if required. Apply adhesive when installing.
