1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit | On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m). | |
2 | Remove front overhead control panel. | Do not disconnect electrical connectors. Allow overhead control panel to hang down on leads. | |
3 | Press catch (2) together from both sides | ||
4 | Pull inside rearview mirror (A67) downward | ||
5.1 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) from rain sensor (B38) and electrical connector from front overhead control panel | If installed. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order |
