Remove

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Loosen sealing frame (2) along A-pillar trim (1).

Unclip A-pillar trim (1) in upper area from A-pillar (5).

Cut securing band (3.1) of retaining clip (3) in center.

 The retaining clip (3) is not individually available as a replacement part; instead, it is available only together with the A-pillar trim (1). Because of this, the A-pillar trim (1) must always be replaced after each removal.

Guide A-pillar trim (1) upwards and remove.

Use an appropriate tool to remove retaining clip (3) from the A-pillar (5).



Install

Insert lugs (1.1) of the new A-pillar trim (1) into guides (arrows B)

Insert retaining clip (3) into the corresponding cutout of the A-pillar (5).

Install A-pillar trim (1) onto the A-pillar (5).

 During attachment, ensure attachment clip (4) is aligned with corresponding mount (arrow C) in retaining clip (3).

Install the sealing frame (2) onto the A-pillar (5).
