1 | Remove front interior lamp | ||
2 | Remove left and right sun visor | ||
3 | Remove inside rearview mirror | ||
4 | Unscrew bolts (1) from roof frame paneling (2) | Installation: First tighten bolt (1) in marked area (arrow C). | |
5 | Lift roof frame paneling (2) over side paneling in marked areas (arrows A) and loosen catch (arrows B) on roof frame paneling (2) | ||
6 | Slide brackets (5) on roof frame paneling (2) toward front out of guides (3) and remove roof frame paneling (2) | On vehicles with code (S22) ISO-fix (child seat mounting system) or when front passenger airbag shutoff switch (S68/15) is retrofitted, disconnect electrical connector from automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp when removing the roof frame paneling (2). On vehicles as of 31.8.10 and with code (876) Interior light package, disconnect electrical connector for ambiance illumination in the roof frame paneling (2) when removing roof frame paneling (2). | |

7 | Unclip automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp from roof frame paneling (2) and remove | When replacing roof frame paneling (2) on vehicles with code (S22) ISO-fix (child seat mounting system) or on vehicles where the front passenger airbag shutoff switch (S68/15) has been retrofitted. | |
8 | Unclip ambiance illumination from roof frame paneling (2) and remove | When replacing roof frame paneling (2) on vehicles as of 31.8.10 and with code (876) Interior light package. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order |
