1.1 | Remove cargo space cover | On vehicles with cargo space cover | |
2 | Remove storage compartment (2) | Press locking lever (8) upward and remove stowage compartment. | |
3 | Unscrew screw (6) and remove belt end fitting (5) | Installation: Install spacer sleeve (7) between belt end fitting (5) and C-pillar. | |

4 | Remove edge guard in area of side wall paneling. | ||
5 | Unscrew screws (3) | ||
6 | Unclip side wall paneling (1) and remove | Unclip clips (10, 11) with long wedge Press side wall paneling (1) upward out of clips (9) and remove. | |

7 | Guide belt through and remove side wall paneling (1). | ||
8.1 | Disconnect connector from 12V trunk/cargo space socket. | Only when removing right side wall paneling. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order |
