1 Degrease mating surfaces on crosshatched areas on vehicle.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2 Apply adhesive in crosshatched areas.
When applying glue, maintain a bead height of 5 mm and a bead width of 4 mm.
Refer to manufacturer specifications for adhesive curing and application times.

3 Install rear fender (1), fit and fix in place using straightening bracket set (2).
Do not smear glue after applying.
4 Install trunk lid, taillamps and rear bumper and fit.
5 Check gaps using feeler gauge and adjust.
6 Remove trunk lid, taillamps and rear bumper.
Observe correct positioning of rear fender (1).
7 Remove straightening bracket set (2) after adhesive has cured.
