Disconnect Electrical connection (9)

Remove grommet (11) from platform

Guide electrical wiring harness (10) through opening in platform

Remove check straps (5, 7) from platform

Mark installation position of hinges (2, 3)

Remove dropside (1)

Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths

 Unscrew screws (4) of hinges (2, 3) for this purpose. Several helpers required.

 Commercially available devices/tools
Open-end wrench bit

 Installation: Observe marking.

 Bolt, hinge to dropside

Install in the reverse order

Repair paint damage
