	Draining
1	Open fuel filler flap.
2	Remove cap.	 Dirt must not be allowed to find its way into the EATS. Otherwise, malfunctions and damage will occur in the exhaust aftertreatment system.
3	Insert extraction hose in AdBlue® tank.

		 Observe arrow on the extraction pump indicating the direction of suction.
4	Suction off AdBlue® with extraction pump and extraction hose out of the AdBlue® container and capture in a suitable container.	 Observe the disposal regulations for AdBlue®.
5	Pull extraction hose out of the AdBlue® container.
	Clean
6	Clean extraction pump and extraction hose.	 Thoroughly rinse extraction pump and extraction hose with water. Otherwise damage will occur.
	Filling
7.1	Fill AdBlue® tank with filling unit.	If the AdBlue® container is filled using the filling unit.

		 Dirt must not be allowed to find its way into the EATS. Otherwise, malfunctions and damage will occur in the exhaust aftertreatment system.
		 Never pour in further AdBlue® after switching off. Otherwise there is a threat of damage occurring to the AdBlue® container.
		 The filling tools are designed in such a way as to leave an unfilled space in the AdBlue® container after switching off.

7.2	Fill AdBlue® tank with refill canister.	If the AdBlue® container is filled using refill canisters.
		 Dirt must not be allowed to find its way into the EATS. Otherwise, malfunctions and damage will occur in the exhaust aftertreatment system.
		 Once the locking mechanism of the one-way filling hose is triggered, do not fill with more AdBlue® under any circumstances. Otherwise there is a threat of damage occurring to the AdBlue® container.
		 The one-way filling hose is designed so that an unfilled area remains in the AdBlue® container after the locking mechanism is triggered.
