4 | Detach bellows (3) from steering gear and tie rod | Before installing the bellows, check the tie rod joint and gear rack for signs of corrosion and contamination, if necessary replace steering | |

5 | Slide on bellows (3) | Rub gear rack grease onto internal bellows to ease assembly | |
6 | Fasten bellows (3) in place using hose clamp (1) | ||

7 | Slide hose clamp (2) onto tie rod | Hose clamp (2) not mounted onto bellows until after toe adjustment | |
8 | Turn-in nut (4) | ||
9 | Install ball head |
