Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Fill, bleed

Unscrew cap with dipstick (1) from container

Check condition of cap seal, replace if necessary.

Fill container with oil

Do not add oil higher than the "max" marking.

Steering gear oil

Relieve the load on the front axle

Turn steering when the engine is OFF from end stop to end stop while permanently correcting oil level in the container

Continue operation until no more bubbles are formed in the container.

Turn steering with the engine at idle speed

Continue operation until no more bubbles are formed in the container.

Correct oil level in container

Fit cap with dipstick (1) and screw tight

Check steering system for leaks
