Remove

Detach tire.

Remove tire pressure sensor (2).

The tire pressure sensor (2) and valve (1) form a unit and are destroyed during removal.

Install

Install new tire pressure sensor (2) with valve (1).


Carefully install tire pressure sensor (2) and do not tilt it.
Damage and malfunctions can otherwise occur.

Mount the tire.

Check function of tire pressure loss detection system.

If it is functioning incorrectly

Determine cause and define suitable repair measures.
