1 Insert shim determined in the rear axle housing.
The chamfered side must point towards the coupling flange.
2 Pull in tapered roller bearing outer races of the pinion-side and flange-side bearing together using the insertion tool (01, 02).

3 Insert drive pinion.
4 Screw press-on tool (3) onto rear axle housing and put spindle against drive pinion.

5 Mount new compression ring (6) on drive pinion.
6 Drive in outer tapered roller bearing using drift (04).
