Removing

Danger!

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove shift cylinder for differential lock (1)

Remove joint housing (3) with drive shaft

Remove differential assembly (4)

Remove gearshift sleeve (5)

Together with the gearshift tube (6), pull out slightly and unhook the gearshift sleeve (5).

Remove the gearshift tube (6)

Remove polyamide rings from gearshift tube (6)

Checking

Clean parts, check and replace if necessary

Install

Install polyamide rings

Smear running surface with lubricant.

Insert gearshift tube (6)

Install gearshift sleeve (5)

Engage gearshift sleeve (5) and slide in together with the gearshift tube (6), until the bore is visible in the opening on the axle tube (2).

Install differential assembly (4)
