 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Unscrew cap from the coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Clamp off filling hose (5).

 Clamp

Suction off coolant from coolant expansion reservoir (1).

 Hand pump

Remove bleed line (2) from coolant expansion reservoir (1) and place to one side.

Disconnect electrical connector (3).

Open clamp (4) and remove filling hose (5) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Remove screws (6) and remove coolant expansion reservoir (1) upward.

Seal openings using protective cover.

 Set of protective caps

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.
