Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Open engine hood

Partially drain coolant and collect it

Installation: Fill coolant up to proper level.

Remove coolant hose (3) from coolant pipe (1)

Remove coolant pipe (1)

Collect coolant that flows out

Remove coolant thermostat (4)

Installation: Install new O-ring (5).

The valves (arrows) of the coolant thermostat (4) must point in the direction of travel to the left.

Check coolant thermostat (4)

Install in the reverse order

Check coolant level and correct if necessary
